I first saw this toilet/papertowel roll album done on Bona's blog and thought what a cute idea and to go green is great. Than I was blurfing the web and I came across Tara's blog and she also made the same kind of album and how i adored the colors of the DP she used. I went out to Micheal's to see if I can locate the paper and I did. I was like awesome, it took me awhile to finish due to the lovely distractions of the "Princess" house(my 3 DD's)but here it is and I wanted to share. I glimmer mist all the pages, and did some embossing, some homemade shimmers(thanks to Rosanne),and added a pocket for extra tags. Sorry but I forgot to take pictures of the tags I added in the roll. I had added DP to the tags and glimmer mist all of them. I am beginning to like all this glimmer and embossing what a fun time. I am sure I will be making another toilet/papertowel roll album again. Thank you ladies for your inspiration. Such awesome ideas. Aloha for now....

Aloha, I know I have not been updating sorry Life has gotten busy but I wanted to share some exciting news with you. I got the word last night that I was able to join this awesome group of ladies from the Deux Shabby Chic. I have been scrapbooking on and off for two years now as making cards is what I like to do, but when I saw how talented these ladies are I thought why not try making a mini scrapbooking album. I was hooked after that. Why not make something that is created with love and btw that is the meaning of my blog. Bona and Arlene mahalo(thank you), I hope to be as inspiring as you ladies are. Until we meet again AlOHa

Hope everyone had an awesome 4th of July. It was awesome to see how the celebration is here as versus in HI. Everyone goes all out here and it was a blast. My DD's had a blast. Well I wanted to share what I made for my husband's niece. I wanted to give her something special from us. I folded the dollar bills back and forth and than folded them in half to make a flower. Her colors were black and gold. I am glad she liked the money lei...Have a great day.

I know it seems like forever since I posted but somehow my cord to download my pictures were misplaced and somehow showed up today LOL..I love these images from InStyle Stamps they are too dahling. This is a shaker card for a birthday girl that had her party at Build a Bear. My girls had an awesome time and I actually did too. The procedure to make the Bear was too cool.(sorry got sidetracked) The flowers were from Roses on paper(Hydrangeas) one of favorite embellies right now. Hmm..what will it be next month. The DP is from Mindy Terasawa and I believe the CS is from SU. Mahalo for stopping by...until next time;)
